We all love a good hack right? Then again, there is nothing more annoying than seeing a great hack, getting excited and then trying it out only to find that it’s rubbish or doesn’t work. That’s where this little list comes in, we have tried and tested these hacks to make sure they won’t disappoint. 1) Got stains on your iron? Simply grab some panadol tablets, heat up your iron and using tweezers rub the tablet all over. Once the iron is covered in the panadol, simply use a cloth with some vinegar and rub off. It should be good as new! 2) How to clean a microwave with a lemon. Grab a microwave safe bowl, add one cup of water and add the juice of one lemon (strain out any bits). Slice the lemon skin into quarters and add to the water as well. Run the microwave on high for 5 minutes, and then leave to sit for another five minutes, then simply remove the bowl and simply wipe down the inside.
3) One for that dreaded oven job… Mix together 1.5 cups of baking soda, half a cup of dishwashing liquid (fairy or like) and a quarter cup of white vinegar. Apply to tough stains and rub gently for a few seconds, apply a little more paste and leave overnight. Then simply wipe away with a damp cloth. 4) Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the cleanest of them all? It could be yours if you try out this hack! Boil up a mug of black tea and let it sit for an hour. Then transfer to a spray bottle and use on your mirrors along with a lint free cloth. Easy! 5) Make it smell clean with out the cleaning. This one is one of my favourites, I recently shared it on Instagram and so many messages from mums ensued to tell me that they “padded” their house after it. It is pretty simple, grab some panty liners and a bottle of Zoflora. Add a cupful to each panty liner, then peel and stick where you want. Do make sure you stick them in places where pets and kids can not get to them. My top places: inside a bin, inside cupboards and at the back of the toilet.
